Johannesburg, 25 October 2021 – South African-based digital company Magoven Creative Studio today launched it’s proudly South African social media network/platform it calls Linkollab.
Linkollab is the 1st in a number of platforms the agency aims to rollout- geared towards making online interactions with friends and family more secure and fun. Admittedly a concept adopted from current big tech platforms, Linkollab.com features additional chat & sharing features including instant messenger, a timeline which Displays Posts, Photos, Files, Videos, and Maps posted by friends/followed people. Also story filters, follow/friends suggestions, and user activities list.
Magoven is adamant that Linkollab mobile applications on both Android and IOS will become available on Play-store and Apple Store late 2021. Currently all activities can be enjoyed online via the LinkOllab.com online app.
Sonke Mthembu, Marketing Director of Magoven Creative Studio, the owner of Linkollab, says, “The benefits of introducing a less commercialised platform means more focus on support. And since the platform and Apps will utilize state-of-the-art security and end-to-end encryption to provide private messaging, more emphasis has been placed on privacy.
Mthembu adds that “the platform is not aimed at taking on existing giants rather it is simply designed as a user-friendly and more robust system for South Africans (by South Africans), and Africa at large. If at some point it gains the trust of international users, that will be a bonus…”
While care has been taken to ensure that their platform performs efficiently, users are still employed to work together with the agency in continuing to make this the ideal social media network, by providing feedback on Linkollab’s user interface and reporting illegal/ inappropriate material using the system’s direct communication system.
