WooCommerce is self-hosted, so the integration is only as reliable as the site it talks to. Slow hosting, security plugins that block API calls and extensions that change how orders are stored all affect sync. Not necessarily. WooCommerce’s REST API and webhooks cover most needs. We add a small plugin only when a custom field or behaviour needs it.
It shouldn’t. We use webhooks for orders and efficient batched stock updates, and schedule heavy jobs outside peak hours.
